Tim Walch, CPA
We have a timely topic for January. Tim Walch will present information on setting up your accounting and files for the year. You need to know what to do, what to document and what receipts to keep.
As a real estate investor himself, Tim is an expert CPA on real estate investments and works with many of our members. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accounts (ASCPA) and on the board of directors of the North Scottsdale Chapter of Letip International. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from DePaul University in downtown Chicago. Tim began his career in accounting as an auditor and tax accountant at a CPA firm in downtown Chicago. He later became senior accountant for domestic and later foreign operations for a large chemical manufacturer on the New York Stock Exchange. After moving to Phoenix, he continued his career as a CPA at various local CPA firms. In 2005, Tim opened his own CPA firm as Tim Walch CPA PC. Tim is the instructor for AZREIA’s QuickBooks Simulator a popular hands-on training for real estate investors to setup and use QuickBooks.

Our motto is “Come for the networking, stay for the knowledge“. Our very popular “I Have, I Want” session is exciting and fast paced as our members quickly tell you about what they have and want they want. The really cool part of this is you may have what they want or they may have what you need. Every meeting several people are connected and make transactions happen. Come and be part of it! Our open networking and structured 30-second sessions are a great way to meet lots of people in a short, but controlled period of time. You too can make it happen at the Phoenix Real Estate Club!
Phoenix Real Estate Club members attend for free. Guests are welcome and can attend for $15 if you pre-register or for $20 at the door. AZREIA members are welcome to attend at the member rate of $10.
Our meetings are generally the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings are held at the 24th Street Conference Center – 1841 North 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008. The Conference Center is on 24th Street North of McDowell. It is the building just north of the AM/PM. Should the parking lot become full, you are welcome to park at the church across the street. Should you elect to park at the church, for safety you should cross the street at the crosswalk at McDowell.
